Aermotor Maintenance Schedule
|
One key part to an Aermotor windmill's extraordinarily long life is an elegant and efficient mechanical
design. The other part is regular maintenance.
An Aermotor Windmill that is correctly assembled and installed is virtually maintenance free.
- Check the windmill once every six months to be sure the windmill is running correctly. This can be a visual check from the ground or from the truck.
- Under normal conditions, the mill requires an oil change once a year. You should use SAE 10 or less. The oil should be non-detergent.
- Check to see if nuts and bolts have remained tight on mill and tower. Do this at the same time you change oil, or after a major storm.
